An infectious working-class anthem originally written by ex-pat Novocastrian Larry Van Kriedt for his band Non Stop Dancers. The "hit the town after work" sentiment of the lyric belies a 40s-era sophistication which is exploited to great effect with wild sax solos from jazz legend Andy Firth.
